Check your ranking regularly
With the importance of search engine ranking and all of the
uncontrollable variables affecting where your web site shows up on a
search engine's results, you need to know when your position has dropped
so that you can take action.
You could test each of your 15 or more key words on each of the top 10
search engines (150 queries) and compare the results with the last time
you took the time to document these results. Clearly this is tedious and
you may wish to use one of the available services such as WebDigger
or WebSiteGarage.
