This was taken in Grand Junction, CO where it had snowed the night before. The boys were sent out to clean the windshield, but being Californian kids, they weren't sure how. |

The reason why Easter in Denver, was my sister Cathy. Here Randy is helping to but the last minute touches on Easter Brunch. Cathy had some friends over and it was great fun.

Spenser even got in the act.

Bryant loves to visit zoos, so off we went to see the Denver Zoo. Polar bears are a favorite with us, and these two seemed to like getting their picture taken.

On the way home we decided to take the southern route and see Mesa Verde. We made it to the Park just before the Visitor's Center closed and really enjoyed looking at the dwellings. In April, the weather was warm, and the best part of it was that there were hardly any other visitors. We actually had a chance to see everything with out battling cars and people.

Not a very clear picture, but that's my back and Bryant is peering down into one of pits where they actually lived. |

We also traveled through Zion National Park. As we neared the park, it started to snow. Nothing heavy, just flurries and there was already some snow on the ground. It was a winter wonderland and the park took on a very different look. At the Visitor's Center, we sat outside while a Park Ranger gave a lecture on fossils in the park. In the background were the beautiful mountains and cliffs of Zion and then again, it began to snow. It was almost surreal. |
