In the beginning ... Jan. 2002

October 2001 For those of you that have checked this site out regularly, you know I'm cheating and have been very neglectful of the page. I apologize for that, but we went into overdrive and things like page updates went out the window. I am now going to do my best and recreate what has been done in months past. You will be amazed at our progress.

October found us pulling lots of wire and insulating the walls. All this to get ready to sheetrock the interior of the house. I'm not sure exactly how much wire was pulled, but it seemed like miles. Besides the normal electrical, we also pulled our own phone, cable and computer network wires. |

Once the wires were pulled we insulated the house. Let me tell you, the house is now well insulated. The plumbers also wrapped up this month by installing our bath tubs. This is the master bath with the soaking tub roughed in and the plumbing for the shower on the left. |

Lots of little things got done in October. The sheetmetal people continued to flash out our openings and also fabricated flashing for the roofers. The stucco people also started work this month. They set up a scaffolding system and wrapped the house in paper and wire. This along with the roof sheathing made us a bit more water tight, but we were lucky that there were no major rain storms this month.
