August 30, 1999 - Bryant's first day in a new school and just like with Spenser, I'm more nervous than he is.  I tried to be discrete while taking this picture, didn't want to embarrass him too much. 

Another new experience for him will be riding the afternoon bus.  I'll be dropping him off in the mornings, but he'll be taking the school bus in the afternoon.  The bus driver said he would drop him off right in front of York, Spenser's school, so that makes it much easier for me.

First Day at York 

August 23, 1999 - Spenser's first day at York, he's doing fine, mom's a wreck. He's now referred to lovingly as a "York Dork".  He's extremely excited about his new school, eager to get started and to exercise his brain cells.

His first semester courses include:

Algebra I
German I
Physical Science
English
Speech
Music

Bryant starts next Monday, so check back for pictures of his first day.
