Clear sepia tone Real Photo PostCard of an ISU landmark. Throughout the twentieth century, the Bells of Iowa State have sounded across campus. Donated by the first graduating class and first rung in 1899, the carollins have become an Iowa State University tradition, remembered with affection by both alumni and campus visitors. This card is a picture of this historic Campanille building in 1930.

Title on front reads "THE CAMPANILE I.S.C. AMES, IA."

Note to Uncle Bert sent to Omaha, Nebraska, posted Feb 22, 1930

Edges:

  • Clear sepia photograph
  • Minor water stain in top left and some minor creases
  • Stamp has been removed from the card
  • Back is damaged due to being stored in an album and taped down
  • Corners are in average condition and circular with very minimal dog-earring and slight bend on upper left corner.
