RPPC Market Square, Berlin,WI w/ Coca-Cola sign c.1940

Clear, Glossy Real Photo Postcard of the Market Square in Berlin, Marathon County, Wisconsin in 1959. The City was founded in 1846 and today survives with a population under a thousand. There is a clearly visible Coca-Cola sign under a Popcorn sign in the street corner of the clock tower. Across the street is Davis Grocery next to an antique street light.

The lack of a stamp box on the back of the card points to the stock being from the very early 1900s. However, the picture shows cars from the 1930s. We know when the card was written on as the date on the back says 1959.

Reverse of card has handwritten notes written in 1959 but never posted.
