RPPC MN Fairgrounds Bldg. Street Scene, 1950 RPC

Home Activities Building

Sharp, glossy, sepia tone Real Photo Postcard of street scene and the Home Activities Building for some county in Minnesota (possibly Chisago, Freeborn or Aitkin ?). Originally we thought it might be the Grand Rapids, Itaska County building, but have since been told it's not. However, we still believe it is located somewhere in Minnesota since the Home Activities Building appears in several counties there.

Great details of the Home Activities Building with vintage 1940s automobiles, and people dressed in period-of-the-time clothing. To the right in the picture it appears to be the entrance to the Fairgrounds. Looks like it rained recently, judging from the pool of water standing at the lower right in the picture.

Post card stock with stampbox Kodak dates the printing to be about 1950.

No writing on back, and not posted.

Interesting addition to Minnesota small town or county fairs photo collection.
