Clear, Glossy Real Photo Postcard looking up Miner Street on a busy day in Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County, Colorado. This is an exceptional card showing vintage antique autos on both sides of the street, with great detail on the buildings, which looks a great deal same today! On the left side of the street the Glory Hole bar is next to the Assay Office and the Rexall Drugs (Trailways Bus Depot sign underneath), then the Rex Cafe Sodas, Opera Grill Sandwich Shop, the Myle Rooms - Steam Heat, and more.
On the right is the Placer Inn, then a Union Pacific Stages, Chicago and NorthWestern Stages shield, The ?art Way Store DRY Goods Shoes, Curios and Dentist, etc.
Caption on celluoid reads "Miner Street - Idaho Springs, Colo" with a photographer's mark in the lower right, "Sanborn I-858." Not written on reverse and not posted. Stampbox DOPS indicates printing between 1925 and 1942. A fine addition to your Western small town or Colorado collection. Condition:
