Clear Sepia-tone Real Photo Postcard of a bridge over the Nitra River by the medieval city of Nitra, located in the foothills of the Tribec Mountain Range in Southwestern Slovakia (the Baltics). Slovakia is situated in the heart of Europe surrounded by its five neighbors - Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Ukraine. It has survived many wars and foreign rule and has maintained its medieval architecture and atmosphere. The castle in the background of this picture is a major feature of the city, and the most beautiful parts of the Nitra Castle are the spire and the Early Baroque fortifications that are seen in the inset below, in the postcards\?s background.
