Reconstruction causeway crossover to Akkaraipettai, India

Akkaraipettai village, a suburb of Nagapattinam, Tamilnaduh was unreachable for several days after the tsunami struck as boats blocked the traffic and a bridge connecting the village with Nagapattinam collapsed. Crossovers were hastily constructed from debris, and now the village is limping back to normalcy.
